Stirrups
Shown below are the shapes and sizes of stirrups that we have available. The sizes listed are the width of the tread. They can be made up in a variety of ways as shown.

Stirrup Measurements
There are several different measurements to consider when buying stirrups. The Tread Width is show in the top photo. They are available in sizes from 1" to 6".
In the center photo, we show the standard inside width of our stirrups. This is the typical with most stirrups and by far the most popular.
The lower photo shows the inside width of the overshoe stirrup. These were traditionally used when wearing overshoes but they have gained popularity with those riding in Packer boots and with people that have very large feet. Besides being wider, they are also a bit taller. The Overshoe stirrup comes in most tread widths and in most stirrup styles.

Lining in Monel Stirrups
All monel stirrups can have a leather lining put in the stirrups. We add 69.95 to the regular price of the stirrups above. If you would like lining added to your stirrups please select the stirrups you want and also select add lining.

Hand Covered Stirrups
Fitted and laced by hand. Any of the the stirrup styles shown above can be covered in leather as shown. Please specify the style and size of the stirrup in the Notes area of the order form.

Half Covered Stirrups
Basket stamped half covered stirrups can be made on any stirrup style shown above. Half covered stirrups are covered on the outside only. Brands or initials can be put on these stirrups for a personalized look. Allow three weeks for custom work.

Rawhide Covered Iron Oxbows
Hand fitted Rawhide cover over a 1" iron oxbow stirrup. A solid feel with lots of weight. We also have iron oxbow stirrups that are uncovered except for the tread and the wear leather.

Wide Brass Oxbows
High quality stirrups cast brass stirrups that are 6" wide. Polished cast brass outside with or without leather treads. These stirrups, as with all our stirrups, are sold and priced by the pair.
